💰 £1,500 SIGNING BONUS

Boundary Gate & Barrier (BGB) are a leading UK perimeter security specialist providing installation and maintenance services for gates, barriers, access control systems, roller shutters and automatic doors. We are continuing to grow our engineering team and are looking for motivated individuals from related industries who want to develop a rewarding career within the perimeter security sector.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking Improvers / Trainee Service Engineers who may be looking for a career change.

You don’t need gate and barrier experience—if you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support needed to become a fully competent Service Engineer.  . We will consider all CVs as this is a role where you will train from the bottom up, but similar industries, electrical knowledge, or a basic knowledge of tools would be advantageous.

Locations Available

📍 3 Positions – North West
📍 1 Position – Northampton Area

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working alongside experienced BGB Engineers
• Learning the maintenance, servicing and repair of gates and barriers, turnstiles, bollards, speed lanes, road blockers.
• Learning about Maintenance and Safety and Compliance
• Assisting with fault diagnosis and repairs
• Developing skills across perimeter security systems
• Building knowledge of roller shutters, automatic doors and access control systems

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering experience from a relevant industry
• Good mechanical and/or electrical skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
• Desire to build a long-term career within the security and access industry
